Helka Ivanyi is a young emerging artist from Hungary. Her interest in making
art is diversified – works of painting, photography and textile art enrich her
portfolio.
She got her art education in Hungary, then she moved to Vienna to
try her luck. She has been living in the Austrian capital for seven years now.
„My paintings mainly represent my thoughts and emotions. Most of the time,
socially critical elements appear on my canvases, other times reflections on
my own life - I often call my paintings a “visual diary”. I paint many negative
experiences and emotions of mine in the form of surrealistic elements mixed
with realism. Every single time I have a painting done, I have a lot of fun
seeing what different dream worlds have evolved from my thoughts.”
