Jonas Studer

Jonas Studer connects the world of fungi with art, science, and painting as an artist, researcher, and educator. Inspired by Éduard Glissant’s concept of Tout-Monde, he uses the organic structures and growth processes of fungal mycelium as symbols of connection, transformation, and evolution. His works merge sacred geometry, natural pigments, and the spiritual power of fungi, revealing hidden worlds and making them visible on canvas.

With a technique inspired by mycelial growth, Studer creates transformative art that captures the spiritual and material potential of nature. As an educator, he shares his passion at eduLAB Thun, encouraging children and youth to explore creative and scientific approaches. He teaches the principles of fungal growth as a model for cooperation and sustainable practices.

Studer is the founder of "Pilz potz Blitz," a platform for artistic research, and an active member of the Society for Mycelial Studies in Linz. His work demonstrates how fungi can inspire not only art but also new connections between nature, science, and creativity.
